I had a rather lazy Sunday, and that was just fine with me. I did a bit of computer work, washed one load of laundry, found and printed out a few recipes I'd like to try, and watched the football playoffs when they finally aired. I settled down for the second game with a fresh carafe of hot tea and a generous shot of a spiced rum on the side to sip slowly. It was delightful.
I've been playing (wasting time) with a new activity on my phone - a paint-by-the-numbers app that seems to have gripped me. I'm finding it a lot of fun, as easy or complex as I choose (depending on the image that I decide on), and a nice change from the on-line jigsaw puzzles that are my other main source of non-reading entertainment. I don't care for streaming entertainments, I'm not much of a movie person, and I'll watch television, but only while doing other things at the same time. About the only thing that can keep my attention completely is a good book, which I also read on my phone. I guess I'm linked to my phone for almost everything, but since it's quite portable, that's just fine with me.
I received a package at the store on Saturday - four t-shirts I had ordered for myself and three friends. Sharon, I'm sending one of these your way - the shirt screamed "Sharon" to me and you just had to have it. I'll probably get it into the mail no later than Wednesday. There's one for Chickie, and one for Chickie-Mama, Claire (which actually started the whole thing going when I saw the perfect shirt for her). So, while I was at it, I also purchased one for me and I'm quite pleased with it too. All in all, a good buy for not a lot of money that will make three good friends happy. A total win on all fronts.

Sharon, I'm sending a package to you, probably mid-week. It's soft goods, so no bulky box needed. I'll try and give you a bit more info when I have it. |
I'm trying my best to motivate for today. It's not easy because today will be a cold day and I'm going to be shivering at the shop. I'm dressed warmly for my torso, but my legs are going to be cold. I'm wondering if I have a secondary set of leggings I can put on, more like a set of sweat pants. Otherwise, my winter leggings are all I have, and I'll be cold. We're currently settled in at about 63-65 F inside the shop (17.2 - 18.3 C), which is fine for my customers who walk in from the outside wearing their winter gear, but too cold for me who isn't all bundled up. I try to dress warmly, but don't always succeed. DH has a portable heater set up near his desk, but I don't, so I freeze. *sigh*
I am still being lazy today. My pulled muscle is still slightly stressed, so I decided against working out on the treadmill today. I'll swim on Tuesday through Thursday and should be able to get back onto the treadmill on Friday. I need the activity, I feel like a slug - LOL. So ... have an excellent Monday. If I don't turn into an icicle at work, I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini.
