I'm still crabby, but nothing to be done about that. At least today is a swimming day, so that's one positive thing. My friend and fellow swimmer Rosemary is up in Ely with her extended family, celebrating the holidays with her three sons and their wives and children. It's an annual thing for the family. They fly in from all over and gather in the Icebox of the Nation for a week. It's a massive group of people sharing a large lodge, enjoying catching up with each other for another year.
That means Rosemary won't be at the pool this week - she'n normally a Monday through Friday swimmer. Lane 5 will be unoccupied, so I might shift over for my three days this week. People generally don't like to share that lane because the other side is a wall side. I know I don't like to swim on the wall side of a lane. I end up with too many bruises on my arms and hands from hitting the wall. Gail is the swimmer who usually will grab that side, but she's recovering from a hip replacement three weeks ago and won't be swimming until after the New Year.
I'll be finalizing my email announcement of our "After Christmas Sale" flyer today. I would have worked on it yesterday except DH forgot to bring it to the shop for me. And I was relatively busy, yesterday. Not super busy, but I did have customers and they were fun ones - lots of interesting projects they were buying for.
So I'm going to plug in some pictures for today and head out into my 5 F temperatures. At least it's not sub-zero, but I'll still have to bundle up. It's cold. But it's the Frozen Northlands, and cold is part of what we are up here. Have an excellent Tuesday and Slava Ukraini.
