DH, Dizziness and Scheduling - I'm Right on Time (Somewhat)

DH did some research yesterday on what over-the-counter medications he can and cannot take for his dizziness. Apparently decongestants are not recommended for people with high blood pressure, prostrate issues, glaucoma or sleep difficulties. He has three of the four and is flirting with the fourth, so I guess most of the possible OTC medications are off the table for him. However, he does have an appointment with his doctor for next month (an appointment scheduled many weeks ago), so he'll ask the doctor about this dizziness then (if he remembers).

Pictures like this will make most people dizzy. I rather
enjoy them, but not for long periods of time. They
almost seem to move on their own, in opposing
directions.

He did pull the snow from the roof, but didn't work with the ladder at all, so it's not quite as high as he would normally have gotten. Still, it got handled and that's what's important. I know it's not something that I can do at all - one reason why I would have to sell this house if it was just me living in it. As difficult as this house can be, I really love it and would hate to have to leave it (plus moving is a TOTAL PITA).

I've never been asked to serve on a jury, and actually think
it might be fun (or really boring), but I just can't do it
until after I'm retired. With a small store like mine, when
one person needs to be out for an extended period of
time, it's a real hardship on the others.

I got a notification for jury duty, and I'm trying to put them off until October of next year. We're going to be so tied up with getting things wrapped up at the shop and the myriad of tasks that will require, I'll need to be available - not off listening to some trial or other. They usually will only allow postponement of nine months and I'm asking for ten. We'll see what happens with that.

Some people make lists for their gifts. Santa certainly makes
a very large list for presents. I, however, make master lists
for my holiday cards. I need to make sure I don't forget
anyone, and have to decide who to drop and who to add. I
have new friends to add, and old friends who have fallen
out of touch with me to drop. The core, of course, is
family, and there are a LOT of them! LOL

Today is a holiday card day. I'm painting the interiors of the last batch of cards, finalizing my mailing list, purchasing my postage, and printing out my envelopes. I want to get these in the mail no later than Monday, and if all goes smoothly today, that shouldn't be a problem. I'm slightly behind schedule, but since I really don't have a schedule, it's right on time - LOL.

Since I don't really have a "schedule", I'm actually
right on time - LOL. I'll let all of you know when
my cards have been mailed so that you can keep
your eyes open for yours to arrive.

So, I'm off to do a variety of things today. Fortunately the weather is quite different than yesterday. Yesterday morning at this time it was 8 F (-13.3 C) outside, but today it's actually 32 F (0 C). Quite a large difference. It should make going to the grocery store and getting gas in the car much more pleasant - LOL. Have an excellent Friday and I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini!
