Football and a Good Book - Isn't That All That's Important?

I actually got quite a lot done yesterday. Photos for the 8mm, 6mm and 4mm Swarovski round crystals were taken - almost 50 pages worth. Today's job, if I have time at the shop, is to get them pulled over into my laptop using Dropbox, find each photo and do the final editing on them before saving them correctly for uploading into Etsy. I left my spotlights and ring light out because I'm hoping to get the 3mm rounds photographed on Sunday while DH is watching football. (I normally completely disassemble my photo set-up and put everything away before ending each session). Our home game is the 3:00 pm game, so he'll be tied up all day.

The MN Vikings against the Dallas Cowboys should
be a good game. At least I hope it will be entertaining.
It would be lovely if I would be finished with my
photography by that time, but there's no guarantee on
that schedule.

I'm also embroiled in getting my cards done and out the door. I've received the first one of this year's cards, and it comes from a new friend who lives in Helsinki, Finland. It's a lovely card, and the stamp on it is simply gorgeous! I know DH will want the stamp, so this card will be a keeper. Thanks, Lokbiiviing!

This lovely Golden Swan postage stamp was on the
Holiday Card that I just received from a newer friend
in Finland. It's just stunning! I know DH will want this
stamp, so I'll save it for him when I pull my cards down
after the season is over.

I was very grateful that it didn't snow yesterday because I was taking final photos at 5:45 pm and just had time to run out and check the mail before DH was due back home. I certainly didn't waste a bit of the "free time" I had to devote to my Etsy project. Tonight I have to get some bills paid on-line that I've been trying to find the time to process. It doesn't even take very much time, but somehow I haven't been able to carve out the 15-30 minutes it will take.

I do love the convenience of paying the household
bills on-line. I don't like automatic payments, so I
don't do that, but I do spend a small amount of time
paying them individually from my bank's website.
It's just so convenient and easy to track that way.

I finished my current audio book shortly after I finished my run this morning, so the timing couldn't have been better. I went out to Audible, bought the next book in the series, converted it, and downloaded it into my bone induction waterproof headset, and now am charging the headset a bit, ready for Monday's run and the next part of the long tale. I do love multi-book series when it comes to swimming and running. I'm definitely getting my money's worth from each volume. This is volume 15 of the series, and there are many still to come. I don't love every character equally, but they're enough to keep me occupied with their trials and travails while I exercise, which is my focus.

On Monday I'll start listening to "Promise of the
Witch King" while I do my treadmill work, and
of course I'll continue with it in the pool and on the
treadmill until it's finished and I download the next
book in the series. Yippee! Such fun.

So, I'm ready for breakfast and a smooth Saturday. We revised our "2-Day Sale" e-flyer last night, I'll make the final revisions at the shop today on the laptop, and after one more look-through on Sunday, I'll send it off to my customer list on Monday. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back on Monday morning. Slava Ukraini.
