Today is a scheduling PITA beginning with my leaving the house at 7:00 am to head to the orthodontist for my consultation. I'll be able to determine whether his method will be the better choice for me (which I think it will, thus my scheduling him first), and whether I feel I will get the care and the results I want. And, of course, what the cost will be which will be a number I won't be happy about. Hopefully, monthly payments won't be horrific and the interest rate won't be awful either. After I speak to the orthodontist, I'll probably have to schedule an off-schedule talk with my broker. *sigh*
Yesterday was wonderful at the rock show. It was cool, but not cold, and the wind didn't really pick up until later in the day, so doing the outdoor vendors wasn't a problem. They had more indoor vendors this time too, and there was lots to look at. I ended up not purchasing anything at all, although DH bought a couple of small slabs and four Ethiopian opals which were quire lovely. The four I had chosen would have been a bit more than $100 and I had no project specific for them, so I passed. Maybe next year.
We had steaks for dinner - enough for two meals, so lots of leftovers for tonight. We didn't measure for the Leaf Filter guards, and I wasn't going to push. Football was on the telly and DH hates to be bothered during games, so I considered it a lost cause. We probably won't do anything about the Leaf Filter guards this year, but the quote is good for a year, so I'll hold onto it and start pushing in the Spring.

Minnesota managed to pull out the win over Detroit yesterday, in a good game. Denver also managed to pull out a win - by ONE point in a squeaker of a game. All in all, a good football day. |
Since time is a bit tight today, I'm going to wrap this up here and start working on the other things I need to have done before I leave for the orthodontist and the shop. Have an excellent Monday, and please be kind to others. Slava Ukraini.
