Today will be a quick blog and a VERY busy day. I sent more documents off to Etsy yesterday, hoping to get this nailed and get things operational. I'm so close, but not quite there yet. The stumbling blocks are the different documents necessary to prove that I'm a real and viable corporate entity, and I'm trying my best to jump through every hoop as it is presented to me. I actually have an agent - Mike - who has been assigned to me now. It's nice to have a name - LOL.

I uploaded several more pages to Mike yesterday. Hopefully I explained the areas of confusion and managed to give him everything they were looking for. I can list anything I want, but I can't accept payments yet. That's the hurdle, and it's driving me (and my friend in Montana who wants to buy an items from me) crazy! |
My new blender arrived at the shop yesterday. It's beautiful! I'll be using it later today to make the next four batches of Ogre Juice, so I'll get a chance to put it through its' paces. I actually left the box at the shop overnight. I have to pick it up early this morning along with a carton of paper bags that I'm exchanging at my supplier's anytime after 8:00 am. I have quite a lot of errands to to early this morning today, so I won't be stuck waiting for DH to leave before I return home. I'll actually be on the road today, instead.

I didn't unpack it yet, just opened the box and looked at how beautiful it is. My blender arrived yesterday and it'll be used today. Here's hoping it's absolutely fantastic! |
I need to return my "new" watch to Amazon today, so I've got that all ready to drop off at Kohl's later today. We had the possibility of snow overnight, but I think we dodged that bullet in my area. Still, there might be icy patches today, so I'll have to be careful on the roads and in parking lots.

I had bought one of these on Amazon, but realized, when getting into the nitty-gritty of setting it up, that it wasn't rated for swimming. It would survive a rainstorm, but not constant immersion. I'm returning it. I already ordered a different one, one that will survive my swimming. It should arrive later this week. |
I did wear my skin suit in the pool yesterday and I'm wearing it again today. It's actually a very different swimming experience. I get a lot more drag against the water - have to work harder - because it catches the water differently than a standard swim suit. I'll wear my regular suit tomorrow and alternate between the two to get my endurance built up. I have to wear a skin suit while we're swimming outdoors later this year, so I have to get used to it now.

I'm wearing my skin suit again today. It was a hard workout yesterday - I don't cut through the water as cleanly in the skin suit as when I'm wearing a standard bathing suit. It was more effort to get my laps in. I need to wear it just to build up my stamina. The outdoor pool will be open in a couple of months, and that's a much longer stretch - Olympic sized instead of only 25 yards. |
So, I'm off and running. I'll be relieved to get to 4:00 pm and chat with Aearwen for an hour. I'm putting my time in for a very busy day - LOL. Fortunately, I think we dodged the snow, although there may be some ice issues. Have an excellent day, spread joy, advocate for peace, and I'll be back tomorrow. I'll let you know how the new blender works - LOL.
