It's An Electronics and Shopping Day

I'm running a little bit late today (although it's only 6:15 am). It's going to be a very busy day for me - grocery shopping and two different Zoom calls - one at noon and a second at 4:00 pm. I'm looking forward to my day, though. Lots to learn, lots to do, and lots to accomplish. Isn't that the best kind of day to have?

Lots to do today, both in the house and out. I'm looking
forward to my extra "day off".

In my WildFit program we move on to the first of our take-aways - foods or rather ingredients that are removed from our menu. Fortunately it happens to be something I had started to remove from my diet more than a month ago, so this one won't be super difficult, but I'm quite sure others will be in the future. The entire program centers around teaching you to listen to what your body is telling you about each food you eat, then retraining your body to want/crave the foods that are actually healthy for it. I'm quite happy with the program and I'm learning a TON about nutrition and the body.

My grocery list is growing, even though I was only there
on Wednesday. Good grief! One would think we were
starving!

I think the best thing about the program is the group of people I'm taking it with. There are almost 400 of us in this "class" and we come from all over the world. We're incredibly supportive and are posting and commenting on the posts of others. Our little Facebook group is very active and it's rather like having several hundred cheerleaders at your back every step of the way. The supplementary material and the various Zoom calls and presentations are also top-notch. I hope I continue to like the program enough to make it a permanent part of my life. I guess I'll find out in another 11 weeks or so.

This wouldn't be a bad idea, but I doubt I'll go quite that
far. I think I can handle my Facebook pings and my Zoom
calls and my on-line classes today without dropping the
ball on any of them. Thank goodness for Voodoo. The
new laptop is making all of this MUCH more convenient.

We're actually quite a bit warmer right now - still the Frozen Northlands (that's forever, even if we're sweltering in massive heat during the summer months). But, we're above freezing during the day. In fact, we might even hit 60F (15.5 C) today. I'll be fine with a sweatshirt, no winter coat necessary. Now if we can just get some of the snow on the garage roof melted off, we'll be golden!

Happy Friday and have a wonderful day. I plan to be back here tomorrow, so in the interim, please be kind, stay safe and please wear your mask.
