Stay at Home - Day 25 - "Day Off": Does It Count During Stay-at-Home?

I started my Wednesday out in the usual manner - laundry and a trip out for groceries. I was successful with some items - found beef ramen, but no chicken. Found my salad dressing, but not my favorite hot sauce. Got DH's salad dressing, but not a can of the soup he wanted in either of the two grocery stores I shopped. I was home before 9:00 am, so I was very efficient, despite the fact that I went to two different grocery stores.

Grocery shopping today was very effieicnt, I was in and out quickly,
and the check-out lines weren't bad at either grocer. I'm quite pleased
about that.

People were almost all keeping social distance and almost everyone was wearing a mask. I was surprised by those wearing a mask but no gloves, but to each their own. I was dressed appropriately for an Operating Room - mask and gloves, and since I am bald, the head covering a doctor would usually wear is rather moot. LOL

The shark fin antenna channels the radio through
into the car. I haven't had any problem with the
radio since the antenna was injured, but I also
don't want a broken piece on the roof of my car.

On the negative side, I noticed my car looked slightly different as I was approaching it with my grocery bags. Looking closer, I noticed the shark-fin on the back roof had been hit by something and was half-off it's base. I remember last week when a passing truck scuffed up something that seemed quite large and heavy and I had thought it would shatter my windshield, but it was untouched. I guess it missed the windshield, but hit the shark fin. I've contacted my local dealer and am trying to arrange a long-overdue general service and a fin replacement, hopefully within the next week or so to make things easier for back and forth. I wonder if this is included in my insurance coverage? I'll have to check into that.

Love these Sunshine Lollipops!

So not all is sunshine, lollipops and roses. There are bees in the roses, the sunshine can burn, and the lollipops are probably not good for me - LOL. (I know the insipid song was Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows, but I like my change a bit better.) Nonetheless, at least I'm far from bored. Have a wonderful Wednesday and I'll be back tomorrow. Stay healthy, Stay safe, Stay home.
