Sunday Was A Day Of Some Progress

Sunday was cold, but blue skies without rain or snow in sight. We dressed warmly and went out to rake leaves, DH in the lower yard and I in the upper. After two-three hours we were finally finished - all clean and ready for the winter storm that's supposed to hit us tomorrow night. Ick!

We're supposed to get snow and cold starting Tuesday night and
on into Wednesday. That's going to affect the Thanksgiving travel
plans for a lot of people.

I spent most of the rest of yesterday working on continuing to clean the craft room and polishing some necklace chains that I want to get bagged up and ready for sale later today. That's the end of the chains, leaving me with the rest of the liquid silver necklaces for Tuesday/Wednesday. I'd like all of these available for our after-Thanksgiving customers coming in for our annual blow-out sales. Good goal, not 100% sure I'll make it on time. But I'm going to try my best.

Organizing by color is always challenging. People perceive
color differently, and color organizes itself in different ways.
I'm switching my browns up a drawer and that's requiring a
lot of sorting to move them from drawer to drawer.

I also started going through my color drawers - these are a set of six large drawers where I have loose beads semi-organized. They needed some serious love and reorganization, so I jumped into that late yesterday. It's time consuming, but not horrible work. It's almost zen. Next time I'll grab my wireless headphones and work with a soundtrack. All good!

My semi-annual dental checkup isn't on my list of favorite things
to do, but it works and I haven't had dental problems for many
years (knocking on wood). I want that to continue, thus, the checkup.

I've got an early dental check-up appointment today, so I'm playing hooky from the gym. Just no way to sandwich a workout and a shower into the schedule. I'm a bit bummed about that, but I'll be back at the gym tomorrow morning so it's only a day.
