Wednesday Goals

Last night was one of those nights where I could have slept far past my alarm. Of course, most people would do that anyway since my alarm goes off at 3:15 am, but there are many times when I awaken earlier - 2:30 am, 3:00 am - just thinking about too many things. Since today is my "day off", my thoughts are revolving around what I need to get accomplished today. I'm going to be concentrating on the breezeway while doing the usual loads of laundry, grocery shopping, and a quick run to the office supply company for a new mouse for my computer - the right click button isn't working as dependably as I need.

I think I'm still using the original mouse that I got when Dale
built my computer for me. It might even date from the computer
prior to that. In any case, it gets pretty heavy use and it's
just wearing out. I hate breaking in a new mouse, but it might
be necessary.

For the breezeway, my goal is vacuuming the carpet and washing three of the walls and the windows. I need to get this done before DH moves the soldering table from the shop into the breezeway. It's a huge and heavy hunk of steel with a solid inch-thick top and once it's in place, nothing will move it. If I don't have the space clear and clean for the table, I know I'll be regretting it for years to come. Time is running out - cleaning supplies are getting readied for the attack.

My arm will be hurting me tonight. It's already aching, But the walls
won't wash themselves and DH has enough to do already with
time shrinking.

Today is also the last day of July - where does the time go? It flows so quickly! August is a count-down month for me - counting down to the unofficial end of summer - Labor Day (first Monday of September for those of you who don't live in the USA). I know how August goes. I blink, and it's already half-over, one more blink and Sharon is here for our end of summer celebration and get-together, and then Autumn comes. So much to do, so little time in which to do it.

Autumn is peeking its head around the corner. We're still fully
in summer here, but tomorrow is August 1st and that's the
last month of summer in my mind. Ack!!!!

So as I set out on the many errands I have on today's agenda, I wish all of you a wonderful and productive Wednesday. I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully with a much cleaner breezeway. Goals ... little steps and lots of goals. LOL.
