I Was Ahead Of Myself - Time Compression

Well. Topsy-turvy might well have described my lack of brain yesterday. Almost all of my post was fine, but that last paragraph! No ... you're not getting Project Runway until tomorrow, because it is a Thursday program, not a Wednesday one. Obviously time was compressing itself and I was pushing two days into each other.

Obviously I'm guilty of compressing time. Wednesday
and Thursday merged in my mind to become a single
unit. Shame on me. I know better than that!

My blogs will be a bit later than usual for the next few days. Since I'm not allowed to sweat or have hard showers until the new tattoos have set properly and started a strong heal, I'm skipping the gym until next week and allowing myself to sleep until 4:00 am. That extra 45 minutes of sleep is welcome. Since I always handle my blog after dealing with my emails and product inquiries, I'm running almost an hour late in posting for the next few days.

I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I'm not allowed to
sweat for a few days, and get a little extra sleep in the mornings.
My daily blog post will be slightly delayed as a result.

The eyeliner tattoo touch-up went super well. Heidi changed her technique on me this time, using a back and forth routine with topical anesthetic reapplied at each switch. It really made a world of difference in terms of my comfort and the end product. I am MUCH happier with the result this time, and I look forward to seeing what we've managed to achieve once it heals and the final result is revealed.

Yesterday's traffic wasn't quite this bad (thank goodness), but
small kids on bicycles were going faster than the cars were.
This particular photo is from Istanbul, apparently the worst
city in the world for traffic jams.

Traffic, however, getting to and from Heidi's studio, was a nightmare. In fact, it was so bad getting there that I actually pulled off an exit earlier and, (crossing my fingers because I always get lost in Minneapolis), I wended my way through curvy residential streets, avoiding a few lakes, until I finally met a road I recognized. I arrived almost on time - shocking and a relief. At least the return traffic was moving - slowly, but moving.

I'm going to try and make time my friend today. Maybe. Or maybe not ... LOL.

So, to reiterate, TONIGHT is Project Runway. We're down to seven designers, so the competition has managed to get rid of most of the chaff and we're starting to actually see people who can design and make items to request and operate under time restrictions. It's getting fun, people - LOL. I'll be back tomorrow, again a bit later than usual. I'm enjoying the whole idea of an extra bit of sleep - LOL. Enjoy your Thursday!
