I'm Cold and Exhausted ... Can I Just Veg For a While?

I'm really beat today. It was a struggle to get my 2000 words out, but I did manage, despite my lethargy. Today's errands  require a trip south to the bank, midway for the post office, and north for gas. I guess it would be wisest to start with gas, so I'll be cold while getting filled up. Still, it's never wise to be lower than 1/4 tank in the winters up here. So ... gas first, then coffee, then the bank, then the post office, and finally I can return to the shop.

I have emails stacking up. I keep wanting to handle them at night after I return from work, but I'm so tired I just make a cursory effort. Not good. It seems that I can either write or I can be the outgoing and involved friend to my fellow writers that I've been. My energy levels don't seem able to accommodate both aspects of my life at the same time. This is NOT good. I want to continue to write, but my friends are also very important to me. I'm hoping that when I get Smaug totally ready to go, that having him will help me to catch up a little in my off time.

Winter in the city is just not my favorite thing. 

Have a great Friday. We're at 16 degrees F (-8.8 C), but at least it seems like we'll have sun later today. I'm hoping so because I'd really like to warm up a bit. .
