Le Tour and Pictures

I feel the need to search out pictures to share with all of you, so after a quick look at Le Tour, I'll let the pics take over my blog for the day. After all, it's Friday and who wants to strain their brain on a Friday? Well...certainly not me :-)

Another relatively sedate stage as they continue crossing towards
the Alps. Only one small Cat 4 hill in the middle. Next week the riders
will look back on these flat stages, wishing there was any flat part at all.

Le Tour enters Stage 13 with a slow incline over rolling hills. No real mountains here - a single Cat 4 hill midway through the 173 km course. The men go from Tours to Saint-Amand-Montrond today, straight across the center of France and still heading towards the Alps. This is still a sprinter's paradise and the boys will be fighting it out close to the finish line. Speaking of which - did you see Kittel overtake Cavendish on yesterday's final rush? That's rare and it was a beautiful thing to see. Bravo Kittel!

This photo, real or photoshopped, is just lovely. The
moonlight on the water sprinkles light and the frong-lit
weeds become touched by magic under the moon's light.

So, pretty pictures....

I love the moonlight on the water in this pic. Just like
sprinkled jewels on the ground, it is staged, but that's
perfectly fine.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just hitch a ride on a passing cloud?

I love the gathering clouds in the moonshine. What a panorama.

Everyone has a leafy tunnel of peaceful thoughts in their heads, but to
experience one in real life is totally magical. I would love to travel down this path.

Once again, floating above the land, but the land in this pic is filled with
falling water, mysterious mists, and many balloons of joy.

So there you have it - a collection of photos featuring the sky and magical journeys for your Friday. I hope you have a marvelous day because you deserve it!
