Bead & Button Week

Well, tomorrow is class registration for the Bead & Button Show. I decided that I would be able to attend, but for a far shorter time than usual. I'm cutting my usual 9 days down to 4-1/2 - a serious cut. There are two classes that I'm interested in getting and I'll try and grab those tomorrow when registration opens. My Manager and I are switching days off so that I can get registered. I already reserved my hotel room. Now all I have to do is find a roommate since my dear friend Pam will not be attending this year.
And I heard from two friends about my glass grinder tool decision. One, a friend from Oregon, has input for me on what might suit my needs best, and she may even have a used grinder that I could get from her for a reduced price (she owns several). The other friend, a jeweler who I absolutely admire for his wicked twist of thoughts for his projects, recommends against getting one. But, I actually think I'll get a lot of use out of it. I have projects in my head that will combine my fused glass and my enamel work into single pieces - wouldn't that be fun? And I have no real idea if that will be possible, but why not try? Yippee......play time!!!
