Sharon's Gift - The Interior

So, after going to all of that trouble to make a proper presentation box, I had to make something to go into it. My friend Sharon is dark haired and can handle bright colors well, so I wanted to make her something that would go with her favorite reds as well as look great with black for those times when she needs to be a bit more formal.
I have been playing with chain for several years. I decided to make her a convertible necklace - one that would be able to be worn in several ways. Using pearls, stone rectangles, glass beads, wire and chain, I made a three strand tiered necklace. Each strand can easily be removed from the end bar and worn individually, or it can be worn as a group. The strands can be connected with each other directly for a long, opera-length wrap necklace of three different elements, and each strand can be lengthened to the length desired by using the extra length of chain that was also included. I concentrated on rich golds, olive greens, black/gunmetal chain and small bits of color here and there. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and I know it will look fabulous on her.
We're in the process of running a 3-day End-of-Year Sale at the shop, so I'm stressed to the max, and waking each day hoping that we'll bring in sales numbers to justify the deep discounts that we are offering people. Yesterday was a winner, but I need today and tomorrow to meet or exceed yesterday's numbers. Here's crossing my fingers.....
