I'm Very Upset with ETSY Right Now *sigh*

I'm in the middle of fighting with Etsy. It's frustrating. I got a notification that I have an order to fulfill and ship, and I'd love to do exactly that. But, I can't escape from my personal account (I had been looking at a couple of things I might want to purchase for myself early last week). It won't even acknowledge that I have a business account, and, of course, there are no human beings to talk to in "Customer Service" (a total misnomer, if there ever was one). Do any of you have any ideas for me? I'm trying to get logged into my business account, but it's sending me to my personal account every time. *GRRRRRR*

Most people are just purchasing from Etsy. I'm
both selling and purchasing from two different
accounts, and it's not letting me switch from my
personal account to my business account so that
I can fulfill the order that was placed. GRRRR.

On the Travis end, I managed to get everything finished on Sunday. It was supposed to be in his hands yesterday, and I uploaded everything, double and triple checked everything, linked the photos to the page and gave him permission to view the photos, and everything should be working well. The store has never looked cleaner, but we're already messing things up because we are an active entity - we actually do sell things, order products and interact with customers. What a concept! LOL

It's a good picture of Travis, isn't it? I'm quite
sure he looks nothing like this now, but it's
possible. In any case, it's to his advantage to get
every dollar out of the store that he can because
his fee is based on our sales numbers. When we
do better, he does better.

Things are in his ballpark now, however. He needs to review the items we'll have available for sale - things OTHER than product, in other words. He's working with the big things - the display cases, furniture, and equipment. I think I ended up with almost 90 items on that list, a good portion of it being various types and ages of metal shelving from the warehouse area. We have a LOT of metal shelving. Some of it is quite old - inherited from his father when we bought the business. His Dad opened his business in 1954, and it's quite likely that some of the shelving dates from that time period.

We have a LOT of industrial shelving that spans almost 50
years. It nowhere close to this neat or uniform, but it all
serves the same purpose - displaying product. We have a bunch
on our main floor holding our product, and a very large
bunch in the basement for warehouse storage. I'd estimate
we have at least 40 shelving units, although it certainly
could be up to 20 more than that.

But there's still a LOT to do. And we're actually still buying some product - we're out of a few very specific things that we really do need to have on hand. So, we'll be placing an order with one of our suppliers within a day or two to get back to normal on things that we're sold out of. After all, black beads are essential, and we're actually sold out of black beads in size 11 right now.

Black seed beads are getting quite low on stock, and
it's something we know we can sell - no matter what.
It's an important color, and we really can't sell out of
it until the last minute, so we're actually ordering
some more. *sigh*

On that note, I'm heading to the swimming pool. I'm just a bunch of tense nerves, and the treadmill is helpful, but the water and a good audio book can work wonders. Have an excellent Tuesday and I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini.

GRRRRRR - I HATE Small People in Large Jobs

I have no time today, just a quick post to let you know that yesterday's attempt at getting an updated Driver's Licenses was a complete and total disaster. I've sent an email off to my attorney, and might have to get him, or someone he recommends, involved in this. Meanwhile, I'll soon have an expired Driver's License which also won't be good. GRRRRR I'm off to swim off some frustration.

DAMN - Another REALLY Short Post

I've managed to misplace something very important to me and I'm posting, but I'm going right back to hunting for it for every minute I have until I leave for the swimming pool. Have a great Tuesday and I'll be back tomorrow - hopefully with the lost item recovered. Slava Ukraini.

DH Is Driving Me INSANE! GRRRR!

DH is driving me insane (if I wasn't already on the borderline). He's going over my calendar multiple times, writing everything down and questioning each appointment. Then, when he was giving me oral instructions for a task I'm to do today, and I asked him to please write them down (and it would have been two sentences worth of effort), he absolutely exploded. Frankly, I'm NOT feeling the love. I'm feeling more like I'm in some Petri dish. I might phone my memory doctor and ask him to have a conversation with DH and explain that writing directions down is EXACTLY what I need done, and that any minor inconvenience ... well, too bad!

DH either doesn't understand, or simply doesn't care
that I need written directions when he asks me to
do something in a particular way. If this persists,
I'll be contacting my brain doc and asking him to
call him directly and tell him, AGAIN, that directions
need to be written out for me.

I was SO angry. It wasn't that I was asking him to do so much.  I fully understand that he's over his head in tasks to get done so that we can get out of the business, but ... I went back to speak with him at his desk or ask for his help on the sales floor several times yesterday, and all he was doing was playing Bridge on his phone. He wasn't doing anything for the store. So ... I really don't know what to say. I'm pretty much working at the store when I'm there. I take a break with my phone during my lunch, and when I go to the bathroom. That's it. The rest of the time I'm on the sales floor and at the store computers working. He's certainly not working towards getting the store closed if he's playing Bridge on his phone most of the day.

We each have our own thing that we enjoy doing on our
cell phones. I love reading on my cell phone - I go through
a lot of e-books in an average year. He plays Bridge.

So, there are issues. *sigh*  On the Good Side of events, my replacement skin suit (full body swimsuit) was delivered yesterday and I'm wearing it today. It's lovely - kelp in the ocean with the light filtering down through the fronds. I also love the way the suits fit when I first get them. Like all swim suits, they stretch out through use and the chlorinated water. I took a closer look at my damaged suit too. I think I might take it to my tailor. It's the bottom portion of one leg that got eaten by the water extractor. I think my tailor might be able to cut it off above that point and put in elastic. It won't be as snug (and it'll look weird), but they're VERY expensive suits and it still fits well. I could get another season at least out of it with a decent repair. It might be worth it - I'll try to build a quick trip to the tailor into tomorrow's schedule.

This is the skin suit I ordered to replace my damaged
suit. I think it's lovely. Of course it fits like a dream
because it hasn't started to stretch out yet. I should get
a good summer's worth of outdoor swimming from it
before it stretches too much.

But tomorrow's schedule is a bit crowded. I did phone my orthodontist and get a different appointment with them.  I simply didn't have the time to start with my eye exam in the Southeastern part of the Cities, then drive to the Northern part of the cities for the Orthodontist, and then to the Central part of the Cities for my Radiology appointments, all within four hours. Not with road construction, which is a constant at this time of the year. So, I rescheduled my orthodontic appointment. My wires can remain without glue for another week, it won't harm them (ideally) and I really don't have any choice.

When it came down to logistics, I figured it was a bit
tight to get to every appointment on time if I had the
Orthodontist in the mix. So, I rescheduled him for
a different date. Now I'll have time to breathe between
my Eye Doctor appointment and my Radiology appt.

I'm off to the pool to work some of this frustration out in the water. I hope you have an excellent Tuesday and I'll be back tomorrow before starting my "Very Busy Day" - LOL. Be kind, enjoy your Spring (or Fall) and Slava Ukraini!
